The Lawless One - Imam Mahdi
Here we are in the Latter days or other words the last days as described in our Holy Scriptures, with events that are happening in front of our very eyes we have now come to realize that it is now getting closer to the coming of our Messiah Yahshua who will come back to destroy the Antichrist and the false Messiah or other words the false prophet spoken about by Apostle John in the book of Revelation.
But before our Messiah Yahshua's second coming there must first come a person who will be the leader of the World and will deceive the world. I don't have to tell you by now who this Antichrist is and where he will come from, if you paid attention and truly looked at your Holy Scriptures then you probably know that this person is going to be Islamic and their laws are called the Quran. If you are not certain yet then this will truly convince you that this leader will be an Islamic figure which I will point out in this teaching and this figure will be called by the Islamic believers the Iman Mahdi.
I want to emphasize in this teaching that the Anti Christ or Anti Messiah is not the False Messiah because there will also be a false Messiah or other words the false prophet will come to help the Anti Christ (Mahdi) and this false Messiah or sometimes called the false prophet will be performing great and miraculous signs to deceive the world in behalf of the Mahdi. I will explain this further but for now we will have to read the first chapter first to establish that we are in the end times for those who do not yet know so this is proof that we are here now in the last days.
Hosea 3:5
New International Version (NIV)
5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.
Yes, the latter days started when the Israelites started coming back into their own land, a movement called Zionism began in the 1800s to encourage Jews worldwide to move to Israel.
Amos 9:14-15
I will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God.
As we see, the State of Israel was rebuilt and the Land of Israel has flourished and the land is blessed in abundance of produce and wine, the land is green again and prosperous.
In Isaiah 66:7-8, the prophet prophesied the re-birth of Israel that came to pass in 1948. Isaiah prophesied about a woman giving birth before going into labor, and he speaks of a country being born in one day. This accurately describes what happened on May 14, 1948 - when the Jews declared independence for Israel as a united and sovereign nation for the first time in 2900 years. When the United Nations mandate expired ending British control of the land, during that same day the United States issued a statement recognizing Israel’s independence. Within 24 hours of time; foreign control of the land of Israel had formally ceased, Israel had declared its independence, therefore other nations acknowledged Israel’s sovereignty. Modern Israel was literally born in a single day.
Isaiah 66:7-8
“Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son. Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.”
In Ezekiel 34:13, the prophet said that God would gather the people of Israel scattered throughout the world and bring them back to “their own land.” After many centuries of dispersion, hundreds of thousands of Jews returned to their ancient homeland beginning in the late 1800s. But, millions more returned after Israel declared independence in 1948. In other words, millions of exiles returned to their ancient homeland which was now truly “their own land” in the sense that it was now a sovereign Jewish state.
As you can see that the end times started when the Children of Israel returned home and became a nation again.
Also as Yeshua (Jesus) had told us the signs to look for before He (our true Messiah) comes back.
1. FALSE PROPHETS AND CHRISTS
Matthew 24:5 "For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah, and will mislead many."
Matthew 24:11 "many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many."
2. WARS
Matthew 24:6 "And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end."
3. FAMINES
Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."
5. TRIBULATIONS
Matthew 24:8-9 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my name."
Most of these things have already come to pass so that means we are now beyond most of these and now we are in the prophecies concerning the Antichrist.
We must understand that the world cannot yet come to an end until one person must arrive first and that is the Anti-Christ or the Anti-messiah. As Yeshua (Jesus) had told us that all of these things (Calamities and Natural Disasters) must happened first but the most important thing to watch out for is the Antichrist who is to come. Yeshua, John and Paul spoke about the Antichrist. Yeshua called the Antichrist 'the abomination that causes desolation.' Paul called the Antichrist 'the man of lawlessness' and 'the lawless one.'
However, neither Yeshua nor Paul indicated from where the Antichrist would come.
To get this answer we first must go to the Holy Scriptures (Tanakh) and look at what some of the prophets have said.
Ezekiel refers to the Antichrist as Gog, the chief prince, from the land of Magog. The ancient land of Magog included some of the territory represented by present day Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia near the Black Sea.
Isaiah referred to the Antichrist as the Assyrian and the king of Assyria. When Isaiah refers to the Antichrist as the Assyrian, he is indicating from where the Antichrist will come. Ancient Assyria included territories represented by present day Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran. In Daniel 11, he also referred to the Antichrist as the king of the North. The king of the North and the land of the North is what Jeremiah called the territory of the Assyria and Babylon. The Assyrian Empire was conquered by the Babylonians in 626 B.C. Both the Assyrian capital of Asshur and the Babylonian capital of Babylon were located in present day Iraq,see map above. These empires essentially comprised the same territory which included present day Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
The Beast out of the Sea
Here the Anti-Christ is referred to as the beast out of the sea from Revelation 13
And I saw a beast coming out of the sea He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The seven heads stands for seven Kings or their Kingdoms, these are the kingdoms of the past and one present today which I will explain later. But for now we will jump into Revelation 17:8 John saw the beast once was, now is not, and will come up from the Abyss (eighth king); but it is on its way to destruction. The people living on earth whose names have not been written in the Book of Life since the founding of the world will be astounded to see the beast that once was, now is not, but is to appear.
Here it is talking about the eight king but this time he is from the Islamic kingdom - that once was - means that Satan once was in power and ruler of this earth (Matthew 4:8) until Yeshua (Jesus) died on the cross and all power was given to Yeshua (Matthew 28:18) and Satan lost that power and is no longer in power (John 12:31) and therefore -now is not, but soon to appear. We know that the Anti Messiah will be the Al Imam Mahdi and the Messiah of the Islamic people will be Isa or the Islamic Jesus and he is what our bible calls the false Messiah or false prophet. Here we will investigate in the Islamic Quran and see what it says about their Islamic leader the Mahdi and their Islamic Messiah whom they call Isa (Easa) Islamic Jesus. Al-Mahdi (the Mahdi) is an Arabic word which means " The Guided One ". In Persian, Turkish and Urdu languages, he is called Mehdi (instead of Mahdi). The Mahdi is the title of this important Muslim leader, not his actual name. He is supposed to be a descendant of Prophet Mohammad صلى الله عليه وسلم .
This is what the Muslims believe.
- The Mahdi (Mehdi) is not the "Messiah" of Muslims.
- Muslims recognize Jesus Christ as a Messiah and this is very clearly mentioned in the Quran.
- Sunni Muslims are expecting at least 3 main individuals to appear in the End Times: (1) One caliph (ruler) whom is referred to as Mahdi (good man), (2) Anti-Christ (evil man) and (3) Jesus Christ (good man).
- Sunni Muslims are expecting Jesus to return to Earth, by descending from Heaven in Damascus, Syria.
- For Sunni Muslims, the Mahdi (Mehdi) is a unique Muslim leader who will appear in the End Times and act as a Caliph, ruling the Muslim World. According to their numerical analysis of the Quran, it seems that the Mahdi will be fulfilling a divine mission and will act as a Witness, a Warner and a Carrier of Good News, so he could be considered a Messenger.
- For Sunni Muslims, Jesus will play a very important role. Jesus will kill the Anti-Christ.
- For the Shia, the Mahdi's role is far more important than Jesus' role. The Shia believe that the Mahdi (not Jesus) will be the one who will kill the Anti-Christ. Shia even claim that the Mahdi will kill Satan.
Revelation 17:9 Talks about the seven heads of the beast which stands for seven Kings and their kingdoms.
17:10 -five have fallen, one is living now and the other is yet to come; and when he does come, he must remain a little while. This is talking about the Kings that ruled the world and during Apostle John's time five of those kings and those Kingdoms have already fallen which was the Egyptian empire, the Assyrian Empire, the Babylonian Empire, the Persian Empire, and the Greek empire. Then it goes to say one is living now, this one was during Apostle John's time and that was the Roman Empire, then the other is yet to come and must remain a little while (the seventh King or ruler). The one that remained a little while was Mohammad and his Kingdom (Islam), and the eighth King will come from the seven as I will now reveal that the next ruler of the world will be the Mahdi and his time is short which is decreed for him to be in power for seven years just as Daniel prophesied in Daniel 9:27 and Revelation 17:8.
Revelation 17:11The beast which once was and now is not is an eighth king; it comes from the seven and is on its way to destruction. The Mahdi will be the eighth ruler and is from the seventh ruler which is Muhammad that ruled and spread Islam many years ago and that Kingdom still remains. As you read their Quran it does say that the Mahdi will come from the blood line of Muhammad. The Mahdi will be of my family, of the descendants of Fatima (the Prophet's daughter). (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 2, Tradition No. 4086) This then confirms that he will come from the seventh King parallel to what this passage in Revelation 17:11 says.
When?
Let’s look at 2Thessalonians 2:3 “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness will be revealed, the man doomed to his destruction.” Does this look familiar? Until the rebellion occurs, just like all the rebellion that happended in the Middle East with so much chaos, and oppression especially in Syria and Iraq.
Their Quran says;
Allah will bring out from concealment Al-Mahdi from my family and just before the day of judgment; even if only one day were to remain in the life of the World and he will spread on this earth justice and equity and will eradicate tyranny and oppression. (Musnad Ahmad Ibn Handbal, Vol.1 Pg. 99)
Also the Muslims believe that the Mahdi comes at a time when the Muslims are divided, occupied, and fitna (Chaos) is everywhere, just like it is happening now.
According to their Quran it says that The Sufyani will emerge before the Mahdi from the depths of Damascus. The Sufyani (Arabic: السفياني), is an apocryphal character of Islamic eschatology.
The term "Sufyani" is a term referring to his descent from the progeny of Abu Sufyan. He will be one of many Muslim tyrants that the Mahdi will have to face in the Middle East. The Sufyani is not the Dajjal (Islamic version of Antichrist). The Ahadith regarding the Sufyani specify that he is a tyrant who will spread corruption and mischief on the earth before the Mahdi. The Sufyani will murder those from the household of the Prophet and will rule over Syria.
The hadith about the Sufyani confirms that he is a tyrant who will spread corruption and crime in the Earth immediately before the appearance of the Mahdi.
So just who is this Sufyani? Some believe it is the President of Syria Bashar Al Assad or could it be the Leader of the Islamic State? If you look at the start of the Syria conflict, it all started with many protest and discontent with the President of Syria Bashar Al Assad because they say that he is corrupted and that he is a tyrant refusing to step down and would not allow real elections. They say that he committed crimes of killing the Syrian people with chemical weapons and other war crimes. But The Islamic State Leader could also be the Sufyani causing alot of deaths in Syria and Iraq. By now everyone has heard of ISIS, they're a terrorist group that broke off from Al Qaeda, they call themselves the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, ISIS or ISIL but now changed their names to "IS" for Islamic State.
Within a few months they grabbed so much territory in Syria and they became so large now that it only took them a few days to take swathes of land and cities from Iraq straddling the two countries Syria and Iraq together without any borders and declared it a caliphate.
A caliphate (in Arabic: خلافة khilāfa, meaning "succession") is an Islamic state led by a supreme religious and military commander known as a caliph – i.e. "successor" – to Muhammad. This is what their Hadith says about this group: Said son of Al Musayyab reported: "The Black Banners will come from the East from the children of Al Abbas. Then there will remain whatsoever Allah wishes. Then, small Black Banners will come to fight a man from the children of Abu Sufyaan from the East. They will give their allegiance to the Mahdi."
The Islamic State carries black banners and their leader's name is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi known to his followers as Al-Khalifah Ibrahim the Islamic State's 'caliph' leader (Successor to the prophet Mohammed) who has just recently emerged and showed himself to the world in a video that went viral world wide. He made his first appearance on July 4, 2014 when he revealed himself to the world in a video giving a Friday sermon on the first Friday of Ramadan preaching about world Domination and proclaiming himself to be the 'caliph' the leader of the Islamic world and demanding that everyone is to honor him and obey him. This is the only group that has given allegiance to their Caliph and declared that their leader is the world's Caliph.
If you go and check you will find out that he was born near Samarra, Iraq which was part of the Assyrian Empire and also the Persian Empire of the past which is now the new Assyria and therefore this would validate him as an Assyrian which our bible says that the antichrist will be an Assyrian king.
Also another thing that is interesting is that according to the Islamic Quran, their Mahdi would have to come from the blood line of Islamic Prophet Muhammad's grandson, and Baghdadi's purported descent from Prophet Muhammad's grandson in the video which would comply with the requirement that a caliph Mahdi be a member of the Prophet's Quraysh tribe. Let's take a look - Prophet Mohammed said: "I and `Ali are the fathers of this nation; whoever knows us very well also knows Allah, and whoever denies us also denies Allah, the Unique, the Mighty. And from `Ali's descendants are my grandsons al-Hasan and al-Husayn, who are the masters of the youths of Paradise, and from al-Husayn's descendants shall be nine: whoever obeys them obeys me, and whoever disobeys them also disobeys me; the ninth among them is their Qa'im and Mahdi."
Also in their Hadith Thauban narrates from the Messenger of Allah (a.s) that he said, “When you see black flags approaching from Khorasan, join them, because the Caliph of God, His Eminence, Imam Mahdi (a.s) is among them.”[2] So the Mahdi that fights the Sufyani will perhaps be Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He is the leader of the Islamic State and he has declared himself the leader of all Muslims and his army with black flags is fighting in Syria and Iraq right now gaining more land.
Black flags from Khorasan, so where is Khorasan? It is in the origins in the above map and the groups that carries black flags are the Al-Queda groups and Taliban groups, but the most infamous are the Islamic State "IS" which is the offshoot of the Al-Queda which also uses black flags.
According to their Hadith it says: " 'when the black flags appear, go to it immediately even if you have to crawl over ice (snow) because among them will be Allah’s Caliph the Mahdî '.
Their Hadith also says that no one will be able to stop them until they make a caliphate all the way to Jerusalem and place their flag there. Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "(Armies carrying) black flags will come from Khorasan. No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Jerusalem where they will erect their flags." (Tirmidhi)
According to our Bible it also says that the antichrist will come to take over Jerusalem and the antichrist will reign for seven years.
Could Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi be the sufyani that causes corruption, crime, and mischief around the world and the whole world is fighting ISIS?. As we continue to wait for more prophecies to fulfill then we will surely know for sure whether Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is the Sufyani or the Mahdi, but for now just sit and eat your popcorn and keep watching the news. Just remember that most importantly it is the one who will conquer Jerusalem with the false Jesus of Islam and they will convert many into Islam.
The Muslims version of the Anti Christ is actually our Messiah Yahshua whom they will fight in Jerusalem.
So vice versa their Mahdi will be the antichrist and not ours. You will see that it is parallel to what the Tanakh (Hebrew Holy Scriptures) and also what the Revelation says about the Anti -Christ who will reign for seven years. In the Tanakh our Holy Scriptures in Daniel 9:27 says "He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him", Yeshua confirms this in Matthew 24:15-24.
Now in the Islamic Quran, (Abu Dawud, Sahih, Vol 2, p. 208; Fusul al-muhimma, p. 275) says, "Our Mahdi will have a broad forehead and a large (prominent) nose. He will fill the earth with justice as it is filled with injustice and tyranny. He will rule for seven years. Also Hadhrat Abu Saeed Khudri relates that Rasulullah said: "Al Mahdi will be from my progeny. His forehead will be broad and his nose will be high. He will fill the world with justice and fairness at a time when the world will be filled with oppression. He will rule for seven years."
According to revelations this antichrist will spread his religion worldwide and how is he going to do that? He will do this with his prophet Issa (Islamic Jesus) will descend down on Damascus and spread Islam and Sharia law all over the world with their world domination according to their Quran and according to our Revelation stating that the antichrist and the false Messiah or other words the false prophet will surely do this and many will be deceived, so here is the warning so that you will know while this is now getting started. Just remember we cannot count his seven year reign yet until he takes over Jerusalem and from there is when we can start counting the seven year reign, and the Islamic people of the world will accept him as the Mahdi for fulfilling the prophecy requirement of taking over Jerusalem to be considered their Mahdi and from Medina to Mecca is where he will be proclaimed as the Mahdi and then all Islam will know for sure. So at this time he has only proclaimed himself to be the 'Caliph" but has not yet proclaimed himself to be the Mahdi because he knows that it is against their prophecies to do it now until certain prophecies are first met so for now we are to just sit back and watch the events unfold and see what this guy does which will confirm that he is the Mahdi. But if it is not Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi then it will be someone else that will lead those people that carries the black flags from Khorasan.
The Covenant
He will confirm a covenant for seven years, according to the Islamist they don’t have to honor that covenant and can break it before seven years this is called a Taqiyya and Hudna and they can break it before seven years because they consider everyone that is not Islam to be infidels. I can imagine that when this covenant is made they will allow for the Jewish Temple to be built and the daily sacrifices will be allowed, but then later the daily sacrifices will be stopped and goes into the Temple of God and sets himself up to be God.
2Thessalonians 2:4. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God”.
Daniel 12:11 (ASV) "And from the time that the continual [burnt-offering] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand and two hundred and ninety days."
The two witnesses
Also during these 3 ½ years the two witnesses will be witnessing for that same duration of time, Revelation 11:3 “And I will give power to my two witnesses and they will prophesy for 1,290 days, clothed in sackcloth”. During this time the Messiah of Israel has not yet come. The two witnesses will have the spirit of Elijah to witness to the world to prepare the way for the Messiah of Israel just like John the Baptist who came in the spirit of Elijah and prepared the way for Yeshua. Then they will be killed by the anti-Christ and then three days after their deaths they will be resurrected and will be taken back into heaven and the whole world will see.
How will the whole world see? It is now possible in our time to see and witness as a whole large audience as our Technology allows us to witness today to watch it all live on the media through Cable televisions, satellites, and internet, unlike that of the past.
How will he come into Power?
The dragon (Satan) gives the beast (Antichrist) his power and his throne and great authority. Men worshipped the dragon (Satan or Allah) because he had given his authority to the beast (Antichrist or Al Mahdi), and they also worshipped the beast (Al Mahdi) and asked, “who is like the beast (Al Mahdi)? Who can make war against him? Because; he is a man of great power of whom the whole world will worship. Revelation 13:7 He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast (Al Mahdi) – all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the lamb (Yeshua) that was slain from the creation of the world. These are the non believers and are the ones that don’t have their names written in Heaven.
His time is Short
He will only be permitted to rule for seven years. This is why the Apostles wrote in 2Thessalonians 2:3 “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness will be revealed, the man doomed to his destruction.”
Even Yeshua confirms that the Anti-Messiah's rule on earth is limited, Matthew 24:22 Indeed, if the length of this time had not been limited, no one would survive; but for the sake of those who have been chosen, its length will be limited.
Yes, this time is limited so that the anti-christ cannot do anymore harm than what he is going to do because his time is short and he is doomed to his destruction.
Revelation 17:11The beast which once was and now is not is an eighth king; it comes from the seven and is on its way to destruction.
As we read their Quran it says this also:
Abu Sa'id al-Khudari(RA) narrated that Prophet(SAW) said:
Sever calamity from the direction of their ruler will befall my people during the last days. It will be a calamity which, in severity, shall be unprecedented. It will be so violent that the earth with injustice and corruption will shrivel for its inhabitants. The believers will not find refuge from oppression. At that time God will send a man from my family to fill the earth with justice and equity just as it is filled with injustice and tyranny. The dwellers of the heavens and the earth will be pleased with him. The earth will bring forth all that grows for him, and the heavens will pour down rains in abundance. He will live among the people for seven or nine years. From all the good that God will bestow on the inhabitants of the earth, the dead will wish to come to life again. (lbn Hajar, al-Sawa’ig al-muharriqa, P. 161; Yanabi’ al-mawadda, Vol. 2, P. 177)
He, who has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is to go into captivity into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. (The sword is the Islamists symbol and is used to kill.)
Many believers will resist and many captured and killed in the tribulation and these are the ones that Apostle John saw in Heaven (Revelation 7:9-15). Some will not be captured but will have to go in hiding, this is why the saints must persevere and be faithful.
Revelation 17:12The ten horns that represent the 10 Kings and their Kingdoms presumably Islamic and they will give up their power and authority to their Mahdi. He will have power to rule the world because of the Oil that is needed by these countries to survive economically.
We know that his time is short when Yeshua said this and then our true Messiah of Israel will come to destroy the Anti-Messiah and the false Messiah (prophet) in the end.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the self-proclaimed leader of the Islamic State group, has been wounded by an Iraqi airstrike in the town of Al-Qa’im around November 9th 2014, nearly 250 miles northwest of Baghdad near the Syrian border, Al-Hayat, a regional news outlet, reported Tuesday, citing Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi.
Calling al-Baghdadi’s survival “a miracle,” al-Abadi said that the ISIS chief, who he said spends most of his time in Syria, had been moved to another location by ISIS after being injured in the airstrike.
Also another strike on him,
the US-led airstrike took place on March 18 and aimed to destroy a three-car convoy between the Umm al-Rous and al-Qaraan villages in Northern Iraq, close to the Syrian border. Both a western diplomat and an Iraqi adviser confirmed that a strike did take place on that date in the al-Baaj district of Nineveh, according to The Guardian.
“Yes, [the ISIS leader] was wounded in al-Baaj near the village of Umm al-Rous on 18 March with a group that was with him,” Hisham al-Hashimi, an Iraqi official who advises Baghdad on ISIS, told the Guardian.
This strike was life threatening like a fatal wound, he almost did not survived the strike but he is now temporarily not able to move because of spinal injuries but he is still alive and giving orders.
Revelation 13:3 One of the heads of the beast appeared to have received a fatal wound, but its fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth followed after the beast in amazement.
